Born in 1978, Vincent Macaigne is a French actor, theater artist, and filmmaker. He trained at the renowned Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris. For his directorial work on the short film *What We'll Leave Behind* (2012), he received the Grand Prix at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. As a performer, Macaigne has been nominated for the César Award multiple times, for instance for his performances in *C'est la vie!* (2017) and *Love Affair(s)* (2020). His more recent projects include a role in the Venice Film Festival competition entry *Out of Season* (2024) and in the series *Irma Vep*.
