Toni Servillo, born in 1959 in Afragola near Naples, is a formative Italian actor and theatre director. As early as 1987, he co-founded the theatre company Teatri Uniti and has directed numerous stage productions. His international film career is closely linked to director Paolo Sorrentino, leading to starring roles in acclaimed works such as *Il Divo* (2008) and the Oscar-winning film *The Great Beauty* (2013). He also demonstrated his acting versatility in films like Matteo Garrone's *Gomorrah* (2008) and Paolo Sorrentino's *The Hand of God* (2021). For his performances, Servillo has been honored multiple times with the European Film Award for Best Actor and has received numerous David di Donatello Awards.
