Undine (Paula Beer) lives in Berlin in a small apartment at Alexanderplatz. She has a good job as a city historian and enjoys the dream of modern city life. But the spell is broken when her boyfriend Johannes (Jacob Matschenz) leaves her. Her world comes crashing down. According to the myth, if her love is betrayed, she must kill the faithless man and return to the water from which she once came. Undine struggles against this curse of doomed love.
