Of course, Isabelle Huppert in the leading role visibly enjoys playing out her entire repertoire from the bullied teacher Géquil (pronounced Jekyll) to her overconfident Hyde version. The film, which won an award in Locarno, moves effortlessly between French social drama, upbeat comedy and fantasy in the course of its story.
