Three libertines expelled from the puritanical court of Louis XVI seek support from the legendary seducer and debauched free thinker, the Duke of Walchen (Helmut Berger). Their unfulfilled desires dictate a quest for pleasure which goes beyond every norm. "I had the idea of a kind of cruising, a kind of historical cruising.
