Bas Devos
Director
Born in Zoersel, Belgium, in 1983, director Bas Devos studied at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. His feature film debut, "Violet" (2014), was awarded the Grand Prix of the International Jury in the Generation 14plus section at the Berlinale. His other works include the films "Hellhole" (2019) and "Ghost Tropic" (2019), both of which explore urban life in Brussels. With his most recent film, "Here" (2023), he won the main prize in the Encounters section at the Berlinale.
