The Moon Child

Romain is a 'Moon child' – afflicted since birth with a rare genetic disease that means any exposure to sunlight will result in cancers. Abandoned by his father at a young age, he grew up under the care of his dermatologist David, with whom he has an extremely close relationship. While Romain spends his time exploring the French countryside, David spends his time obsessing over the disease that will eventually take his patient’s life. They both face a dilemma when David receives news he is being transferred to Brussels.
