Thirty-year-old Hanna is very charming and doesn't know how to say "no." She suffers from the neurosis of kindness. This strange syndrome affects other members of her family: her father Omar is a "grocer social worker" and her mother Simone is a "home help psychiatrist." Hakim, her brother, doesn't share their neurosis, focused as he is on his Algerian roots and his religion. In fact he doesn't get on with Hannah at all. But an unexpected event will oblige Hanna and Hakim to reconnect.
