The Cut

1915: The Armenian Nazareth lives happily with his wife and daughters in Mardin. Until Turkish troops drag him out of his house at night and force him to build roads, and the situation escalates. His throat and that of other prisoners is cut. But Nazareth survives, he can flee, but finds only dying people in a camp in the desert. A benefactor brings him to Aleppo. Only later does he learn that his daughters have survived. He searches for them in orphanages and comes across a trail of the two that leads to Cuba.
