Lee Kang-sheng is a Taiwanese actor and director known for his collaborations with director Tsai Ming-liang. He made his acting debut in Tsai's film "Rebels of the Neon God" in 1992 and has since appeared in many of Tsai's notable works, such as "Vive L'Amour," "The River," and "Stray Dogs." His performance in "The River" earned him the Best Actor award at the 50th Asia-Pacific Film Festival. Kang-sheng has also directed several short films and documentaries, showcasing his talent behind the camera as well.
