Kate Mara

Born in 1983 in Bedford, New York, actor Kate Mara began her career in the late 1990s. She gained international attention for her role as journalist Zoe Barnes in the political series *House of Cards*, for which she received an Emmy nomination. Her versatile filmography includes the drama *Brokeback Mountain* (2005), the science fiction film *The Martian* (2015), and the miniseries *A Teacher* (2020). More recently, the performer appeared in the dystopian anthology series *Black Mirror* (2023).
