James Faulkner is an English actor known for his versatility in film, television, and theatre. Born on July 18, 1948, in Hampstead, London, he has built a significant career over several decades. Faulkner is perhaps best known for his roles in popular TV series such as "Game of Thrones," where he portrayed Randyll Tarly, and "Downton Abbey," in which he played Lord Sinderby. In film, Faulkner's notable appearances include playing the Apostle Paul in "Paul, Apostle of Christ" (2018) and as Lord Seelof in "Bridget Jones's Diary" (2001) and its sequel, "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" (2004). He also played pivotal roles in "The Bank Job" (2008), and "Atomic Blonde" (2017). His television credits include "Da Vinci's Demons," "Blood Royal: William the Conqueror," and "W.E." As a seasoned actor, Faulkner has yet to receive major international awards but continues to be recognized for his strong, supporting performances and substantial contributions to both British and international cinema.
