Born in 1992, British actor Daisy Ridley gained international recognition for her leading role as Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, beginning with "The Force Awakens" (2015). For her performance, she received a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award, among other accolades. Her body of work also includes roles in films such as "Murder on the Orient Express" (2017) and the biographical drama "Young Woman and the Sea" (2024). In addition to her work in front of the camera, Ridley is also a producer, for instance on the independent film "Sometimes I Think About Dying" (2023).
