Boston-born Ayo Edebiri is an actor, comedian, and screenwriter. She began her career in stand-up comedy and wrote for series such as "What We Do in the Shadows." She became known to a wider audience for her role as the ambitious chef Sydney Adamu in the series "The Bear" (since 2022). Her performance has been recognized with prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award. Her other projects include the film comedies "Bottoms" (2023) and "Theater Camp" (2023).
