Anna Geislerová, born on April 17, 1976, is a prominent Czech actress known for her compelling performances in both film and television. She made her acting debut at the age of 12 in the 1989 film "Requiem pro panenku" directed by Filip Renč, which brought her early recognition. Over her prolific career, Geislerová has appeared in numerous critically acclaimed films such as "Želary" (2003), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and "Kawasaki's Rose" (2009). She has won multiple Czech Lion Awards, the Czech Republic’s highest film honors, for her roles in films such as "Želary," "Beauty in Trouble" (2006), and "Something Like Happiness" (2005).
