Jorge and his father Antonino, originally from Spain, live on the Flemish-Walloon border in Belgium. Antonino mistakes his chicken for his late wife, Maria, so Jorge decides to build a hen house. A cop insists he gets a permit for it, the city administrator requires them to learn the Dutch/Flemish language, and the chicken, which Antonino continues to call Maria, needs to get a residence permit. So, what is going to happen to the hen house?
